Two compound bows, a throttle body air compressor, a shop vac, digital camera and other various items valued at just less than $3,000 in total were taken from a garage in the 3700 block of East Henry Avenue between July 15-20.

Saws, drills and an air compressor valued at $2,152 were taken from a garage in the 3600 block of East Underwood Avenue when someone pushed in a Plexiglas window to gain entry between July 27-28.

A canvass boat cover valued at $150 was taken from a rear storage lot at Cudahy Self Storage, 4958 S. Whitnall Ave., between July 14-16.

A $300 saw was taken from a truck parked in the 3800 block of East Carpenter Avenue on July 17.

A backpack containing $185 in cash was taken from a locked car parked outside Bally's Total Fitness, 2525 E. Layton Ave., on July 21.

A production worker at the Porkie Company, 3113 E. Layton Ave.., had a wallet and cell phone valued at $195 taken from an unlocked employee locker by a suspicious male who entered the premises on July 25.

A cell phone valued at $300 and $70 in cash were taken from a locker at Bally's Total Fitness, 2525 E. Layton Ave., on July 29.

Two hundred fifty dollars in cash was taken from the bedroom of an apartment on the 5000 block of South Lake Drive between July 27-31.

A purse containing a wallet valued at $265 was taken from a shopping cart at Merchandise Outlet, 5656 S. Packard Ave., on Aug. 4.

A digital camera and cell phone valued at $260 were taken from a residence in the 3600 block of East Squire Avenue on Aug. 6.

A fiberglass boat valued at $1,500 was taken while parked outside Khone's Auto and Body Upholstery, 5139 S. Whitnall Ave., on Aug. 7.

A GPS unit valued at $264 was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 2900 block of East Donald Avenue on Aug. 9.

A 21-year-old Cudahy woman required 11 staples to close a wound to the back of her head caused by an unknown man who came up behind and struck her with an object after previously asking for a cigarette in an alley on the 3700 block of East Underwood Avenue on Aug. 7.

A 47-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, in the 4600 block of South Kingan Avenue after nearly striking a squad car head on while making a turn at an intersection. The man's blood alcohol content was 0.29.

Two tires valued at $200 were punctured on a car parked in the 6000 block of South Packard Avenue on July 11.
