W3ll it's Monday already I hope you all had a great weekend...

I was listening to the scanner on Saturday morning and heard a call for a 415 Domestic in the 3700 Block of San Remo. The reporting party called in that they could hear a woman screaming for help. The dispatcher told the police to respond code 3 expedite lights and siren.

I did not hear much about the call after that, I don't know what happened. What happens a lot or it did in my day is the person getting abused is either too afraid to press charges or thinks Bozo is never going to do it again. Usually Bozo in fear of going to jail will promise to never do it again but Bozo lies.

This could go on for years until someone decides to get help, or they die. I went through some child abuse as a kid. I have known quite a few women who went through spousal abuse some are dead having been murdered at the hands of their so-called loved one.

It usually doesn't end on it's own the victim needs to say "Enough" and get help. The abuser will just go on and on as long as they can get away with it. If you are on the receiving end of domestic abuse and it's an emergency call 911.

When I heard this appeal on the person is 20 feet from the road wrapped in barbed wire, I did not know what to think I still have not. There are many captions that can go under a picture of someone 20 feet from the road wrapped in barbed wire. It sounded like the person was alive although I don't know I haven't heard anything since.

On Friday afternoon I was listening to the scanner when I heard the dispatcher refer to the Reporting Party, as the Reporting Potty I just about died laughing. Someone's been reading Roger's Scanner Reports.
